The difference of ball valves
2013-01-18
A ball valve is a valve that opens by turning a handle attached to a ball inside the valve. The ball has a hole in the middle so that when the hole is lined up the input side and the output side of the valve, flow occurs.
A GLOBE VALVE is a type of valve used for regulating flow in a pipe, consisting of a movable disk-type element and a stationary ring seat in a spherical body. Usually the globe is moved in and out of the flow by a handle connected to a threaded stem.
A GATE VALVES is a valve that opens by lifting a gate from the path of the fluid.
